Ivy Kids of Stone Oak - owners

Bashnin Sherali

Our goal is that parents should feel at ease while they are at work knowing that their child is in a safe, loving, nurturing environment where they can have fun and learn. We strive to provide excellence in developing young minds for the future. We are confident we can provide that here at Ivy Kids Early Learning Center in Stone Oak.

At Ivy Kids, we believe in the importance of family and in creating a nurturing educational home-away-from environment for children. Our families as group owners truly believe that one of the best gifts we can give children is the best start in their early childhood education.

The Sherali family includes Bashnin – an experienced educator who developed a love for learning and a passion for teaching from a young age, graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2012 with a Bachelors in Education (Cum Laude). She is certified in Early Childhood education all the way up to 8th grade and has been teaching since 2013. Her husband Shehmir is a passionate businessman and strongly believes in individualized education. He received his degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2011 with a Bachelors’s in Business Management and a Minor in Finance. As parents of two wonderful kids, the Sherali’s recognize that high-quality education is of the utmost priority to help build a strong social and educational foundation in early childhood years.

The Mohamedali family includes FayyazAli and Shumaila. Both graduates from the University of Houston. FayyazAli graduated with a Bachelor’s in Finance and Shumaila graduated with a Bachelor’s in Finance and Marketing. Shumaila then pursued her passion for graduate studies and received her MBA from the University of Saint Thomas. Over the past 21 years, Shumaila and FayyazAli have both been part of several corporate positions from Real Estate, Pension Consulting, Medical Billing to Risk Management, and Commodities trading. As working parents of three children, we understand the importance of the formative early childhood years and it is rewarding to now contribute and make a positive difference to our community through Ivy Kids.

It’s such a privilege and dream for both our families to have the opportunity to pursue this journey to help parents and children achieve their dreams by starting with a solid foundation in early childhood education. We are grateful that you are choosing to create a partnership with us. We believe Ivy Kids’ commitment to curriculum development, science programs, and nutritious meals for growing children helps in preparing children for a successful future.
