Cooperation is one of the key elements of success🤜🤛🌟

Our Pre-K group is learning about cooperation and what better way to practice than to pair up in a wacky relay race!!🤪🏃‍♂️🎾

Cooperating is about working together and helping others. When kids cooperate, they have more positive social interactions and can make and keep friends. Parents and teachers can help their children develop the skills needed for a lifetime of friendships and positive social connections by teaching and encouraging cooperation skills early. Here are a few tips on how to teach your littles one cooperation:

• Help kids understand what cooperation means. (Cooperation is a big word and a complicated skill. One way to help kids cooperate is to break this complex skill down. For example, you could tell your child cooperation means 1) taking turns, 2) working together, and 3) sharing)
• Model cooperation skills at home and with friends
• Role-play how to cooperate.
• Use specific praise to encourage children’s efforts to cooperate.

Balancing with numbers ⚖️🔢

Our preschool group enhancing their number skills with their Monkey Scale 🐒⚖️🔢

Math is an important component of early childhood education. Math is a part of your child’s daily life; it’s just a matter of helping them develop those important skills. Math manipulatives are a great way to make math fun and engaging! Manipulatives connect abstract concepts to real-world objects.

Some of the math skills preschoolers are developing include:

Counting sets of objects3️⃣🌜🌜🌜
